VOTD: Chris Garneau - Dirty Night Clowns

This is quite a journey! :) Enjoy!

Amplify’d from vimeo.com
"Dirty Night Clowns" is a wonderful tale of curiosity, danger and pursuit. Although its never known what the path ahead has in store, Chris takes a journey driven by his nervous curiosity to find the nefarious character who roamed about his house while he slept. What seems scary and evil from a distance might end up as something unexpected as a cast of characters lures Chris in for a special ending.

Sometimes the fates align and two passionate artists are able to collaborate on a truly special level. Singer/songwriter Chris Garneau and producer/director Ryan Gibeau were brought together by the song "Dirty Night Clowns" from Chris' album El Radio. What is easily ROCK*iT's finest moment in video history came from this collaboration and the wildly imaginative music.

We'd like to send a special thanks to Chris Garneau, Absolutely Kosher Records, Alternate Ending Studios and the entire crew for actualizing our dream of making this video! Thank You!

I travel quite often and perhaps you do as well. This article is of importance. I am not talking about having your body being groped but more about the X-Ray Body Cooking that is happening. I do not mind a lil grabbing once in a while ;) Seriously, though, please read.

So, do make trouble. On-the-ground rebellion is important. But also tell your legislator. There's a senate oversight meeting tomorrow, so please call these people and tell them how you feel.

Google's mobile docs editor upgraded!

As you may know, I am a big supporter of the Android os.  I have also been using Google Docs for a long time. I use this as my main document editor and often reader.

When I am on a job or out somewhere, I can easily reference all important files as they are in the clouds and also make any changes or additions needed.  Let's watch the video.

Video: Jay Z - Hard knock life (Annie The Musical)

I do not really like this, but at the end of the last decade, this song got into my head and also enough other folks that it launched the career of Jay Z. I was talking with Dan from http://www.acoustica.com and he referenced the song Hard Knock Life from the Broadway Musical, Annie and I had to bust out this version. So thanks to Dan for this song invading your life today!

I will make a more formal post eventually, but last month, the latest Josie Cotton (Johnny Are You Queer/ Valley Girl) album was released and on it is a song I produced and played a variety of the instruments including guitar, bass, percussion. Depeche Mode covered & stripped down by Groove Armada...

Today, during a session, I was making my cat dance while I quickly sang, "I see you kitty kats, shakin' dat ass, shakin dat ass" which was my short rendition of the Groove Armada tune. Since it is nearly sleep time... (supposedly) I am sharing this mellow cover of Enjoy The Silence by Groove Armada.

VOTD: Music In The Key of Bees

There is a bit of a buzz surrounding today's video!

CryoShell - Creeping In My Soul (official music video)

People often ask me about music and film I am liking. Here is something I am NOT liking but know some folks will. I was NEVER EVER a fan of Evanescence, in fact, I find that music to be a combination of what I very much dislike; Christian rock, white bland rap, over-compressed generic guitar lines and typical sample loops to assist the squashed "big boy" smashing drums. CryoShell regurgitates Evanescence and possibly a diet/lite side of Lacuna Coil, but I give them credit for filling a void and being out there. I am sure some people will love it!

Oh Long Johnson... - talking cat

You may remember this from years ago....

He Who Gets Slapped

I was thinking this evening how I never meant to wind up in music... it was all about acting most of my life. When I was younger, I was cast as the lead for Leonid Andreyev's "He Who Gets Slapped" in the Catskills of NY. There is a 1924 film version starring Lon Chaney, created by the young MGM Studios. I Have never seen the full film and always had the desire to do so. It is time soon to occur! Who wants to watch it with me some night?

The end of the video is interesting if you never saw it. This reminds me of being young and watching MTV. This video was HUGE back then!

Gadget Of The Day: Skyfire & FLASH for iPhone

I am not an iphone user.... but I know many folks who will find this video of interest. Skyfire has been around on winmobile and for a while it has also been on android, which I use. The folks of Skyfire are great and have always been into communicated with their users, which helps positive growth. Now you can enjoy flash on your iphone. They use adaptive streaming to measure your network speed as well as converting on their side the flash you request and translate into html5 which your iphone recognizes.
