David Byrne - Psycho Killer - Sessions at West 54th Street

David Byrne has inspired so many people and the general population may only know a light version of this via his work with Talking Heads, however, if you look here, you may see a further glimpse of his various directions which surely inspired Thom Yorke, Trent Reznor, Meat Beat Manifesto, David Bowie... etc.

The music performance begins at 1 minute 30 seconds, following the interview with Chris Douridas (KCRW)

Meat Beat Manifesto - "Waterphone" & live in LA

If you know me well, you understand my connection to the music by Jack Dangers aka Meat Beat Manifesto. Since the later 80s, I have been an avid fan and have been very fortunate to have hung with this visionary on occasion. His influence on not just my own music but pop culture has been massive yet he has remained under the wire for his career. There would also be no Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, drum n bass, dubstep and beyond.

Meat Beat Manifesto perform their audio visual spectacle tomorrow evening at El Rey in Los Angeles.

VOTD: Meat Beat Manifesto - "Waterphone" New Song

Since 1988, I have been a fan! When God OD dropped and Storm The Studio, I was HYPNOTIZED!!!! Never play this music when driving a car... I learned via multiple speeding tickets. Once I got this simple fact, I never again had a ticket!

Meat Beat Manifesto not only spawned a generation of funkdustrial heads, but incited drum n bass as well as spawning dubstep. Enjoy!
