I enjoyed the first few U2 albums and enjoyed them in concert since the late 80s and
am certainly looking forward to hearing "AHK-toong BAY-bi Covered", the covers album included with the December issue of Q magazine, available October 26th.

Which artist interpretations are you most curious to hear?
I am eager to hear Gavin Friday (Virgin Prunes) as it is no secret that U2 was highly influenced by Virgin Prunes. Hearing Depeche Mode and Patti Smith and even Trent Reznor will be interesting too.

To continue with HORRIBLE cover songs, following yesterday's tragic Scott Weiland attempt at Depeche Mode and in line since Prince will perform at House Of Blues in Hollywood tonight, here is one of the worst remakes I have heard. What makes this even more horrifying, is that you know MONEY & TIME were dumped into this mess. The voices step all over each other, the choice to slow the tempo makes it an acid trip to a funeral (no fun in this funeral) and the questionable bass line. "ENJOY"

The Basics of Luv Jam:
Every other month or so, a bunch of Universal employees unite to perform cover songs. We have one rehearsal a few nights before the date of Luv Jam and then it is show time.

Hear covers of Pink Floyd, The Clash, Young MC, The Killers, Joss Stone, Queen and more!!!

I will be on drums for several songs and then I will be grabbing the mic for a "hilarious" rendition of something you will NOT want to miss!!!

[My only hints for the song is the following: maracas, shakers, horns, party, rum-bum-bum]

The party begins at 9pm and runs toward midnight or so.
Bring your cameras, good vibes and some friends!
