I enjoyed the first few U2 albums and enjoyed them in concert since the late 80s and
am certainly looking forward to hearing "AHK-toong BAY-bi Covered", the covers album included with the December issue of Q magazine, available October 26th.

Which artist interpretations are you most curious to hear?
I am eager to hear Gavin Friday (Virgin Prunes) as it is no secret that U2 was highly influenced by Virgin Prunes. Hearing Depeche Mode and Patti Smith and even Trent Reznor will be interesting too.

This is what happens when San Francisco mashup artist, DJ EARWORM, blends hits of Annie Lennox's solo career.

He writes,
"I’ve always held a deep respect for Annie Lennox and her music, so when she gave me her multi-track masters to mash up, I was thrilled," he writes on his blog. "The task was to tie together all of her solo career into single song and video, and I could deconstruct it as much as I wanted! Woohoo!"
