I am sharing this version of Cascadeur's Walker as the way he embellishes the song in this recent performance is quite interesting in that such as simple song can grow in precise, significant ways.

Thanks again to Robert Murphy for introducing me to this music last year as it found its way to my top albums of 2010 as well as remaining nested as a favorite this year.

From my favorite album of 2010, I have certainly referenced this song before... Universal France is prepping to push his album further as they have created a video. I prefer a recent recording of a performance better as he has developed the song since, but this is certainly decent as well.

The other evening, my friend over at Universal Music Group sent me a link to the youtube video as well as the Universal video you will see directly below and I have been floored. It is very simple, but harnesses essence of Jeff Buckley, Jude, and a spirit of the early 70s, quite possibly even a moment of Paul Williams character in Brian De Palma's Phantom Of The Paradise
