Monday 2011 06 13 Brendan Perry @ El Rey Theatre. Amazing performance. His last time there was November 1999. I brought my mother with me then and did this evening. Lisa G, Agnieszka, Rob Vogel and Oscar were among our crew... Gabe, Rocky and Naren were also in close proximity. Lots of old Dead Can Dance songs performed. Robin Guthrie joined Brendan to cover the This Mortal Recoil version of Tim Buckley's "Song To The Siren". After the show, I wound up standing next to Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard!!!! I work with lots of artists but there is magic with those two. It is nearly religious. Good to see Darren Revell and Chaim as well!
